Psychotherapy, Mediation, Re-Imagining

We live in a time of change and uncertainty.

For many it creates or exacerbates feelings of anxiety, depression and insecurity.  It can be difficult to feel grounded and connected.  Often the very things we do to comfort or distract ourselves from our difficult feelings end up increasing them.  At times it is external events that seem to buffet us about; other times it is our own internal moods, thoughts and feelings that seem out of control.

  • Psychotherapy can help provide the grounding, insight, safety, emotional liveliness and connection to promote the growth and resilience that makes life feel rewarding, nourishing and generative.  For couples too, psychotherapy can help you both understand what works for you and what doesn't, offering a new way to address your differences and be together

  • Re-Imagining  is designed to bring  choice and intention to your life and  transitions.  It is a combination of  internal emotional work, insight and an understanding of our interactions, values, relationships and external demands.

  • Sometimes we get to choose our life changes and other times we have to find a way to live with changes outside our choice.  Separation and divorce can be one of those most difficult times.  Mediation provides a way to go through the separation process in a non-adversarial manner, constructing the best possible outcomes for all involved, emotionally and financially.

  • Supervision is available for psychotherapists, mediators and nutritionists, individual or group.  It extends the concepts I teach at New York University.
