Lynn Schultz LCSW
Lynn Schultz is a psychotherapist in private practice in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York. She is also on the faculty of New York University. Over the past fifteen years she has worked extensively with a wide range of issues including eating disorders, mind/body connection, nutrition, addictions and mood disorders. Skilled in many different areas, it is the creativity of understanding people that excites her work. Be it with individuals, couples or groups, her passion imbues her ability to help people to unlock their individual creative processes be it in the arts, in business, in the family or in daily life.
For several years Lynn was a staff member of the Renfrew Center of New York as a therapist and Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program. She has provided supervision and consultations for therapists and nutritionists and run body image seminars and counseling and countertransference workshops.
Prior to training as a psychotherapist, Ms Schultz was a producer and writer in television working for various music companies, cable networks and private corporations. She has also consulted with a number of media companies during their start ups.
It is this blend of business and psychology that provides Lynn with her unique perspective on achieving satisfaction in the balance of work and private life. In her partnership, A Better Way: Divorce Mediation and Conflict Resolution Lynn, a certified Mediator, applies her skills to help couples and families through the difficult process of separation in a non-adversarial manner.
